The Whammy II is explicitly inline immediately before the main Axe-Fx. Axe-Fx, AXON and GR-1 outputs enter the Switchblade matrix, which sends parallel stereo feeds to the H8000, H3500 and Eclipse branches before their returns reach the final mix. The 2014 MusicRadar rig tour independently documents the same architecture.
