In a direct Classic Albums interview, Jones says that the MXR Phase 45 used on Anarchy in the U.K. was the only effect pedal he added. Secondary histories sometimes identify the record's modulation as an MXR Flanger, and current interviews describe a Phase 90 in Jones' modern live setup. This snapshot follows the artist's specific first-person model identification and does not merge those later or conflicting accounts into the 1977 session path.
