Vernon Reid

Reid's 2016 rig distributes guitar across a main digital board, a Supro-specific pedalboard, a VG-99/tabletop synth branch and amplifier/modeler paths, blending conventional drive with granular, pitch, delay and guitar-synthesis processing.

Premier Guitar photographed and inventoried the April 2016 system with Reid and technician Jeff Cummings, explicitly describing four parallel sub-rigs. Reid independently confirmed the VG-99, modified M9, H9, PitchFactor, stereo heads and passive DOD splitter architecture to Audiofanzine later that year. Positions below preserve the documented physical groups rather than imply that all processors run in series. The FC-300, expression pedals, Expressionators, passive mixers, audio interface and table mixer are omitted as controllers or utilities; the VG-99 remains because it processes the guitar signal.
