John MayerPedalboard, 2026
John Mayer's Crossroads 2026 pedalboard accompanied guest performances with Tedeschi Trucks Band and Trey Anastasio. A Crossroads Guitar Festival regular since its inaugural 2004 edition, Mayer joined the band on Saturday for "Keep On Growing" and "Empty Pages", then Anastasio on Sunday for "What's Going Through Your Mind" and "Ghost". His compact guitar rig paired a PRS Silver Sky with a Dumble Overdrive Special, using the same nine-pedal board across both nights.

Tuner
PolyTune 3
Role in this rig
First unit in the Crossroads chain described by Justin Jeske.

Gain
TS10 Tube Overdrive
Role in this rig
First TS10, before the Centaur; Jeske describes the TS10–Centaur–TS10 gain stack.
Both sources list two separate TS10 units, with the Centaur between them in Jeske's signal order.

Gain
Centaur Overdrive (Dark enclosure)
Role in this rig
Middle of the TS10–Centaur–TS10 stack explicitly described by Jeske.
John Mayer Gear explicitly calls the enclosure blacked out. The reports do not establish its serial number or internal modifications.

Reverb & Ambience
Strymon Flint
Role in this rig
Last pedal before the Dumble; Jeske describes its reverb as apparently active throughout the performances, supplying ambience to an amp without built-in reverb.
Both sources identify a Strymon Flint, but neither establishes V1 versus V2. The shared five-knob face is illustrated without claiming a revision.

Documented equipment · Documented order · Serial path
The inventory is documented in performance images and in John Mayer Gear's caption. The signal order is explicitly described by Justin Jeske at 6:02–6:24, not independently cable-traced or confirmed by Mayer's technician. Both reports analyze the photographed festival rig and are conservatively treated as one independent evidence group. Exact knob settings, the tuner buffer mode and the Flint hardware revision are not established; no settings from earlier boards are carried over.

MethodologyQuestions about John Mayer's 2026 pedalboard
- What pedals did John Mayer use in 2026?
- This dated entry lists 9 units: PolyTune 3, Katana Clean Boost, TS10 Tube Overdrive, Centaur Overdrive, TS10 Tube Overdrive, Aqua-Puss MkII, Artificial Blonde, Chrono Delay DLY-4, Strymon Flint. This is the recorded inventory, not a claim that every connection or model identification is confirmed; see the evidence and routing notes.
- What order were John Mayer's pedals in?
- A cited source states the order: Guitar → PolyTune 3 → Katana Clean Boost → TS10 Tube Overdrive → Centaur Overdrive → TS10 Tube Overdrive → Aqua-Puss MkII → Artificial Blonde → Chrono Delay DLY-4 → Strymon Flint → amplifier.
- Is this John Mayer's full guitar rig?
- No. This dated entry covers 9 units in the effects path, not every piece of gear John Mayer owned or used. Floor pedals, rack units and routing devices are included only where recorded; omitted equipment and uncertain connections are explained in the notes. It is not a complete or current rig inventory.
- When and where was this pedalboard used?
- September 2026. Crossroads Guitar Festival. This is one dated setup as documented, not a career-wide gear list.
- How does the archive know what was on this pedalboard?
- 2 cited sources, listed above with the date each was read, including Justin Jeske / YouTube, John Mayer Gear / Instagram. Among them a rig rundown and a photograph. The units are recorded as documented equipment, and the page was last audited on 2026-09-30.
