Kevin Buell identifies the Dyna Comp and MC401 as the lead sound, the DD-3 as the delay, and the RT-20 and BF-3 as song-specific effects he operates offstage. The source describes control responsibility but not a cable trace, so the display groups the first three in the main path and the latter two in a switching zone without claiming exact serial order. The custom onstage stomp box is a remote controller and is omitted. Musician's independent 1992 report documents the same operating philosophy - simple player controls with delay, overdrive and flanger hardware handled around or under the stage - but none of its older devices are merged into this 2007 snapshot.
