Buddy Guy

Guy's intentionally spare touring route used his two-voice signature wah, a green mid-hump overdrive and a seven-output splitter feeding two stage amplifiers.

Guitar tech Gilbert Garza described the order as wireless and cable into the signature wah, then Tube Screamer, then JD-7 splitter. The wireless receiver is infrastructure and is omitted. A 2009 first-person interview documents the immediately preceding wah-only approach, while Garza explains that the later overdrive supplied extra gain and sustain into cleaner amplifiers; the board is therefore dated to the documented 2012 configuration rather than generalized across Guy's career.
